Habitat For Humanity - Existing Homes Needing Ramps

Thanks to a generous $2,400 grant from The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International and Rotary District 6900, the Rotary Club of Griffin joined forces with Griffin Area Habitat for Humanity to make a life-changing impact in our community - building bridges to independence.

With these funds covering materials, dedicated Rotary and Habitat volunteers rolled up their sleeves to construct wheelchair-accessible ramps for individuals with disabilities—providing them with the freedom, safety, and dignity they deserve. These ramps aren’t just structures; they are pathways to independence, allowing families to enter and exit their homes without barriers.

This project is a reminder of what happens when people unite, take action, and create lasting change for those who need it most. Together, we’re building more than ramps—we’re building hope, accessibility, and a stronger community!

In fact we have decided to build another ramp this spring.
