The Rotary Club of Griffin ran their beloved College Football Fundraiser once again. Rotarians signed up to support their favorite college football team—either solo or in dynamic duos—regardless of wins, losses, or conference standings. The only thing that mattered? Total points scored! Each participating member pledged $200 for their team.
The Hype Was Real. At midway through the season, our "Referee", Chuck Copeland, brought the energy with high-energy pep rallies during our meetings, awarding cash prizes to the top 3 Rotarian scorers, and keeping everyone updated on the standings.
The Final Score - As the season wrapped up, we celebrated the top-scoring 3 teams and crowned. Natalie Marshall, our President-Elect, claimed the top points honor.
The Real Victory? Our Community! Thanks to our enthusiastic members, this Community Project Fundraiser scored a whopping $9,500 for our community projects budget—directly supporting initiatives that make a difference right here at home.
