Rotary’s Laws of Life is such a meaningful way to connect with students in our local schools—helping them develop important skills, express themselves, and even earn scholarship opportunities. Our club was proud this year to also become a Platinum sponsor of this program.
This year, we were especially excited
to welcome back a previously participating school, making the program even
stronger. In total, 551 essays were submitted by 10th, 11th, and 12th graders
at Griffin High, showcasing their incredible thoughts and perspectives.
Our dedicated volunteers put in about 40
hours of reading and reviewing to narrow it down to nine outstanding honorees—including
one overall school winner, two grade winners, and six honorable mentions.
We can’t wait to celebrate these talented students at our Rotary meeting on May 1st!
