Habitat for Humanity - New Home Building

Rotary Club of Griffin Lays the Foundation for a Brighter Future! The Rotary Club of Griffin is proud to support Habitat for Humanity's newest home with a $15,000 donation, covering all the flooring for this incredible project.  This marks the third habitat home built in spalding county in just 18 months, and we're thrilled to be a part of this life-changing effort.

But the impact doesn't stop there!  Starting in May, Rotarians will have the chance to roll up their sleeves and get to work.  First up?  Demo day - we expect dust, debris, and plenty of sweat!  Once the heavy lifting is done, we'll move on to drywall, laminate, flooring, and interior trim work, with hands-on opportunities continuing into the summer months.

Let's be honest - our Rotarians love a good hands-on project.  Maybe its the satisfaction of building something meaningful...or may they just like playing with power tools. Either way, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact, one board, one nail, and one floor plank at a time.

Partner Involvement
Habitat for Humanity - has found funding for remainder of the build, although Rotary Club of Griffin is the largest funder; and they provide the expertise and training and also more volunteers.
