Food for Life

On Saturday, the 9th of March, the Rotary Club of Griffin joined with the Griffin Daybreak Rotary Club, local Boy Scout troops, and other volunteers to package 16,000 sevings of a nutritious meal to be distributed to local non-profit agencies, churches and others for further distribution to needy families. 17 roptarians and spouses met at 9:00 AM at Fire Station #2 in Griffin to package the meals. By noon, over 16,000 servings had been bagged, weighed, sealed and boxed for distribution.
